    Sorted a split hose on the heater hoses at the very rear of the engine :( now trying physio with hot bath and self medicating with copious quantities of monkey shoulder with ibuprofen and paracetamol

    Cheers, @kurtjohnson10 I use Brit car and usually opt for genuine but this is the second set (in 7 years that are weakening) hence looking for a better replacement Agree that brit part are not as bad as painted in some cases

    Defender passed its mot Friday, I'm now waiting until Friday 1st Oct to put the tax back on it, just chassis cavity waxing and vehicle undersealing left then final full valet and hey presto were completed

    Replaced the pass side headlight wiper (again) I find that I get a failure approx. every 4 years with these, the base fault is wear in the plastic gears and as you can't buy these separate it is a full unit replacement, this I can now accomplish in approx. 30 minutes

    Like this one I've got in me shed, metal covered with vinyl, metal also has a rectangular hole in the centre (for a clock I believe)
