Surprising what happens, probably because all systems talk to each other so dodgy signal from one sends the rest into meltdown. Goes to show though why sometimes it looks bad but really dodgy sensor or like you say switch.

Would have to look at your manual but there is a fuse you can pull to put the transfer box in neutral.
