Is this supposed to be like this?

Hi everyone. Now the name of name of the thread makes you feel like someone's doctor about to see some funny looking genitalia but sorry to disappoint you. As you can see in the photos I've been underneath the defender trying to sort the leaks out and came across this. Now it's a screwed thread...

    Possessed Windscreen Wipers

I changed the wheel box on mine with a Britpart one, added new spline efforts, wipers and blades. Nothing. Will have to start changing other things.

    52mm Gauges

Hi all, with my defender came a raptor console with empty spaces for a cb radio, 2 x cig lighters and 3 x 52mm gauges. Is there a recommended site for buying these and if so what do you recommend? I was going to move the clock to centre and in its place a rev counter, alongside the clock I'd...

    Possessed Windscreen Wipers

Timing belt and auxiliary belt change

I've decided to bottle it and get it done by the pros. It's been on the drive for 3 weeks because I didn't want to risk driving it as the timing belt was long overdue. It's getting done tomorrow. Thanks for all your help.

Timing belt and auxiliary belt change

Yes a 300tdi. I am mechanically minded as I'm a plumber/gas engineer/fitter but haven't really dealt with cars much, if I read up and took my time would you reckon it would be worth me doing it or just getting a garage to do it?

Timing belt and auxiliary belt change

Hi everyone. I've been quoted about £400 to replace the above and was wondering whether it would be best to change them myself? Can you tell me the pros and cons of both please?
