Understood completely, the old headlamps in the Volvo were terrible and I suppose after nearly 20yr they would be.. Check the diffs for noise, check the front diff where it meets the proshaft for movement. I've seen two later P38's, a 2000 and a 2001 both with front diff bearing failure 🤯

Depending on the year of your diesel, the little hose that goes from the radiator to the coolant tank can be an issue. The later diesels had a pipe that followed the wing and went straight to the coolant tank. Earlier diesels had a pipe that dropped down below the battery and raised back upto...

I've just put some osram night breakers in the bus and some osram "cool intense" bulbs in the awful Volvo v50 lights. The Volvo bulbs have a 5k output and have a very clear bright effect with no flashing from oncoming traffic 👍

Just short of 180w per unit, (read the manual🫣) , it's states to not touch them for at least 30mins after use🤯. They came with a good wiring kit, fuse and relay.

The other issue is the current draw. If I wire into the high beams, it'll draw massively along with the other four bulbs and if I give them a remote circuit which would not cause much more strain, there is a risk of inadvertently blinding the oncoming traffic (when seen out on the road)!! Just trying to sort out a good way of fitting them without drilling any holes in my bumper. They do come with a bracket which goes behind the regplate onto the bumper so any extra holes are hidden. It'll then fix into the metal reinforcement behind the bumper.. Im also not a fan of having them...
