Thanks everyone. Here is my current lifting kit minus the LR bottle jack. Jack is about 400mm height but only get 350mm out if it under load, various axle stands. Can't remember what jack is rated at, no stickers etc but for age reasons I can only assume 1.5t

Two feet! Wow ;) that's impressive. Bottle jacks are good for their money. Never used one just worry about the stability of them. But suppose its fine if you put it straight on axle stands. I have the standard LR one under the hood with it, should try it.

Hey, thanks for your comment. Is there not a rubber seal or gasket pushed in their also, surely that cardboard gasket doesn't do all the work? :)
