The corrosion is more than just the lower edge, it's crept up the sides and middle... so I was looking to replace. Is there a repair panel available? The series 3 plastic grill I have looks sh1t - I'll be looking out for a 2A wire one... or maybe I'll make one.

No I don't want to look like a 2 or a 3, I was just struggling to get hold of a 2a wire grill - but I guess I'll just keep looking. Maybe I'll have a re-think on where to put the spot lights...

I know 1970 would have been a series 3 front panel, but trying to pick up a decent series 2A grill is proving a PITA, but there are loads of series 2 grills around... so if I convert to the series 2 panel I'll resolve this issue - and the other issue - I hate having spot lights 'out on show'...

Update - I've found the cause! It's the ball joints at each end of the connecting rod between relay and box. Can I replace these with standard ball joints, or are they special ones?

I've had a bad fuel smell outside my 2A for a while now, and have had issues tracing it. No leaks in the tank, and there's no smell inside... even though the rubber hose is very perished. This leads me to think it's evaporating petrol from the tank via the filler cap. So the question is, can...

Yep... I traced the wires to the bullet connectors - blue and white have power on main beam and flash, but blue and red nothing when switched to headlights. The blue feed wire from the switch has power, but it looks like I need to check if there's still power at the stalk (25)... Thanks :)

Update: I have power at the switch, and power out of the switch when flicked down to the headlights position. However the power goes somewhere as there's nothing at the front split behind the grille. Looking at the wiring diagram, the power from the switch splits somewhere at the bulkhead - is...
