    ***Running hot please help***

Be careful with the concentration of anti freeze 50% max. Anti freeze above this concentration can reduce the heat transfer from engine to coolant and out to the rad.

p38's are officially rubbish....dont ever buy one

It would be a bit dull if it was perfect in every way......... How is it some people get rogue cars? ........or is it that some people are hard users or just plain careless or have little mechanical sympathy etc.etc.

You might try the transmitter. Redplace it wiv a new one just to be sure you are getting the correct reading. Dont forget its a gauge to indicate temp. It is not and exact measurement. If the new transmitter reads the same, then trust its reading.

    Ave fuel consumption whilst cruising

I also get 20 MPG on a longer gentle run in my 4.6. When i first got it i was getting about 12 - 14 MPG. However, with experience and care, i can push it over 20. Also helped me get rid of the 11 points after 16 valve Golf and Ducati 748 SP. (PS. Still got the Duke)

    P 38 Tyres

Thanks for the recomendation. By the sounds of it, the P38 is a little prone to tramlining. That is useful to know as i am quite interested in sticking to Extra Load tyres and not all other makes may be XL. Therefore may be i have to go with the P Scorpions again. Tramlining: Also...

    P 38 Tyres

I have a P 38 4.6 fitted with Pirelli Scorpion 255 55 18 109V Extra load tyres. I find these tramline and wondered if anyone could recomend another make of tyre. I rarely, if ever go off road. The P38 is fitted with bilstein dampers and a rear anti roll bar.
