I am aware of how easy it is ti get stuck due to understanding basic physics and that is why my car has a winch fitted and carries recovery equipment such as rope, straps, shackles and a ground anchor. Why the need to abuse people? Have you had a drink? A row with her indoors perhaps?

Respect your being alone comments but no need for concern. All lanes were flat, no drop offs to side, had plenty buildings around and at worst I could have broken down and have an hours walk home. Plenty of phone signal too.

Thanx for the kind welcome (from most people). Went out for a couple of hours today searching for lanes by myself. Strayed up a few private drives by mistake but found a few. Good feeling indeed.
