Hi guys this may have been covered before,but the problem is i have a little welding job to do on the disco but when i disconect a battery lead the alarm sounds is this normal and how do i get the battery of without being the alarm sounding thanks. Andy

Hi all my gearlever does not center itself and is perminantley over to the left . Is there a spring or summat that pulls it into centre or is the problem in the box . I can get all the gears fine just the leaver is not on centre. Its a 1998 300 tdi manual . Thanks guys

Hi guys on a 300 tdi when you press the right hand button on the key lob the disco locks itself alarm turns on and so does the imobaliser thats how i think it works .My questoin is can you lock the disco but not turn on the alarm somehow thanks guys

Diff lock not in as it corners great . Not had it to bits yet as i have only had it a week so dont know the history of the disco the diff lock may never of been used before for all i know and maybe just siezed up.

No it goes in to high and low box ok but not across .

Hi guys its a 1998 disco 300tdi you are just supposed to push the littlt gear stick to the left to engage the diff lock but nowt happens. The little gear stick just does not go to the left am i doing summat wrong or owt . I really need help with this one guys thanks Andy

Hi guys of all the long leg rear cross members on the market is there any makes that you would/would not recommend. I am sure i have seen one somewhere which actually sleeves over the origional chassis by about 3 inches so the cuts dont have to be spot on . Thanks Andy
