System has been bled so no air to the best of my knowledge, everything looked ok when it went back together - could it be a fluid issue as from what i can gather its refusing to go in gear when its hot (not 100%) but a possibility ?

Ha I am no way near technically minded enough to fix myself and can't afford someone to do it, so will be a case of regularly topping up

Well, i managed to get just shy of 2l of oil in the main gearbox and it has transformed the feel of the old gal. Vibrations have totally stopped and feels much more "alive" cant believe the difference its made :-)

Afternoon all, I have a 86 200tdi 110 and i have developed a serious vibration through my peddle when i get to about 45mph, i have a leak in my gearbox oil so imagine this is very low at the moment but could this be the cause for the new worrying vibration ?????

Just come to put everything back together and found my replacement seat box is the wrong shape round the gearbox :-( anyone have one by any chance ??

Will they fit they 200tdi ? is it a different size hole in the wing or fixings etc ??

I am going to be replacing the windscreen seals to roof and bulkhead seals when i rebuild but was wondering how they are attached ? are they self adhesive or will i need some kind of adhesive ????

I've been getting several reminders from the insurance company regarding photo's of the vehicle, i rang them again today to say i cant at the moment as its currently in bits. They have now said sorry we cant insure you as your car is not on the road so will have to cancel your policy and charge...

ive had some in my focus for a year now and had no issues, for the price if they lasted 6 months id be happy :-)

mines a 89 and each side runs a seperate fuse, i had similar issues so replaced the glass fuses for the blade ones and pretty much solved everything and only cost a tenner and took an hour :-)

i got some leds from ebay china took a week but a fraction of the price as from the uk
