No I never invested in a nanocom :-( The light stops flashing on the dash when EKA is entered on the door but I can never get it to sync with the fob

Battery was recently replaced I think summer i put a heavy duty bosh which was new the message centre suggestion maybe be right.

This ignition sync really appears to work. I havent had an issue with keys before but am reading a window not set or sun roof not set light when opened so I wondered if it may need the electrics checked. But the batteries in the key are brand new now
