    Strikes me as a bit odd that the engine is a last concern for peeps ? are that they that cheap to come by ? .... Will have a close look at chassis and see where i am at.. thanks for hints..

    i suppose logical thing to do it.. 1 determine which engine runs. 2 strip and assess the chassis on each truck. 3 Decide which one would make the better off roader (err forum advice would be good about here) Either restore.. or sell for spares.

    Think i am going to have to spend a day with them.. I'll service both, oil and fluids.. fresh fuel.. get a good battery... See which one i can start and then go from there.. How quick can you strip a landy back to bare chassis, and if a chassis is rusty, at what point does it go beyond...

    yes the engine is from the green one.. i assume the 2.5 must be a v6 or something then the configuration of the manifolds at a glance looked like a v8.

    Dunno what they are - yup need help - probably get them free - not just yet but the owner wants rid and hasn't mentioned money at all.. I fink i ave a few months of project work to do..... Closer look will reveal how many hours and days are to be lost in the future.
