I changed the wiper cable on my defender putting it all back together fine all works fine started her up fine no problem like normal turned her off and my battery light stays on :( not happy can anyone help on this

Thanks for all your help people it was a massive air lock I believe and took all the injectors off and kept turning her over alot and she just randomly fired up ?:/ that what I would say

Just a quick question might be wrong but before I put the fuel in the fuel tank had hardly any fuel in it so could that be a problem there not being enough fuel in the tank for it to suck up ?

My landrover defender 90 2.5 n/a engine started like normal drove up the road and it slowly died on me but not like it ran out of diesel Tryed restarting it and just kept turning over but not firing so I checked there was power to the fuel pump and there is checked the injectors and its come out...

I'm not sure I'm mine has any of that its a b reg landrover and wat we did is try bleeding One front brake and one back one at the same Time and the pedal goes to the floor now even just bleeding a back one the brake light has neaver come on ?

How would u tell its tge master cylinder or wouldn't the front work either ?

It doesn't go hard now it goes to the floor on the backs how would I tell if it the master cylinder ?

When you put your foot on the brake fluid flows into the top of the resviour

Eeezzi bleed

Bleeding the fronts the pedal goes to the floor like normal when doing the back the pedal goes down half way then stops

When I try bleeding the back hardly any fluid comes out but the front bless normally

I needed to bleed my defender breaks the front ones bled up fine but the back ones won't work at all disc's in the front drums on the back has anyone got any Ideas??

It smokes to much for a non turbo ? How do I cure this ?

My land rover defender 90 none turbo failed it mot on emissions some one has turned the fuel up on it witch screw and how do u turn it back down ?

Is it worth taking the ignition out and cleaning that first?

Need help please my battery on my defender 90 keeps going flat put the jump leads on it and my ignition lights stay on even tho the keys arnt even in ? Got it started the lights went off but I could take the keys out and it would still be running when I finally turned it off the ignition lights...
