I have just aquierd some marix panther remoulds 225/75/16 and I honestly can't fault them even my tyre fitter said they was a good tyre at only £300 for 4. I had to put 10mm spacers to get them to fit but it's getting a lift soon as well

Something must be wrong I did the head gasket on my 1.8 freelander on Saturday and its still running lol

Thanks to you all you have been very helpful I'm doing the HG, Inlet MG, CAM belt and water pump today It was just how well it was running that made me think it wasn't HG but may as well do it. Thanks

I have too top it up daily but it's been like it for about 6months while my mum had it.

Is the inlet water cooled if so where is the feed thanks If it was head gasket wouldn't there be more signs and bad compression etc

Is there any way the water could get from the inlet manifold to the ciylinders

Can't understand, if it was the HG how all 4 ciylinders have water in them

Hi all thanks for the help took out the spark plugs and spat out about 2 litre of water out of all 4 cylinders put it back together and it runs lovely. I'm thinking head gasket but the water isn't mixing with oil what do I need doing shall I do the HG. Thanks

No its never been off road at all it was my mums from new and its only done 40.000 miles and she has recently gave it to me. It has been leaking water for ages but couldnt find where it was leaking. But it has been driving fine other than that.

Just took the air filter off and loads of water has ran out of the throtle body any ideas now

Hi again all I have acquired a set of ATs off a friend who own a garage for cheep they are new but are 225/75/16 will I need to fit spaces to get them to fit with standard alloys and no lift, I have read that they will fit but may scuff when fully loaded, I will fit a lift at some point but...

Hi all finally solved it there was a small split in a hose and it was only leaking when under load so even though it was up to temp it wasn't under enough pressure to leak :) Thanks for all the help guys really appreciate it
