I'm currently in the same position I freed off my pistons but they did not look good. I was thinking about buying a spare set and changing piston to stainless ones just makes the job quicker.

I've already seen the chassis. They are 300 tdi exhaust mounts in the middle it's got none on the tube tub outrigger then the 1 on the rear crossmember. Land rover did make this version of the land rover with a 300 engine and a td5 tub,called rest of the world. But looking for an exhaust system...

Hi I've got my chassis ordered today. I've gone for a 300tdi with a td5 rear. ( which I've been told is RoW model now ). I've got a fuel tank and new sender and tank cradle, now im after an exhaust system does anyone know what I need to order. Cheers steve

Where abouts did you take yours?

What do I need to do to my bulkhead? Where do I drill holes put stiffeners etc. Cheers

Hi fokes I've just brought a bulkhead I was thinking about repairing and galvanising. Is there anyone 1 local that does that type of work. If not what do I need to do with regards galvanising. Cheers steve

I would say typical farm land rovervan back. Been looking on ebay but not many basic models around like that. It's will have the odd mark. Inside will be used I've not seen it. Just after a price so I know when to stop I don't know if I'll. Keep it or sell on as I've got 2 running projects. Steve
