While laning this year we also did the famous/infamous "Bastard" lane, properly known as Horseshoe lane.
It's another one of those lanes you see people driving badly on YouTube and making a complete hash of it. You can see it on the ground too, with some very odd routes taken on some obstacles, thay can only serve to make it difficult and damaging with no benefits.
We opted to not drive down the steepest part of the waterfall, as there really is no need too. We weren't there to break anything or prove anything. And if you want a real challenge off road, you go and compete in a trials event (RTV/CCV).
Quite a fun and interesting lane though. Although in my honest opinion it would be much more entertaining to drive it the other way round doing the obstacles up hill. Maybe one day.....
