That reminds me, need to top up the brake fluid.

Does anyone know how regularly brake fluid should need to be being topped up? I’m about a month and 3k miles in and am needing to top up again. Would that indicate a leak somewhere or is that fairly normal?
Mine was done 18 months ago and level has barely moved

Today could be expensive….

Busy day…
Removed the tunnel to get a lot of work done easily. Hi/low lever not holding low correctly so rotated a collar a bit(road test later)
Easy gear box oil acsess(top up)
Grease prop shafts from above
Remove middle seat panel for the transfer box oil & tighten up disk handbrake
Crawl underneath for the axles
When I removed the rear axle filler it popped. So Strip down both front & rear breathers & removed the blockages.top up bioth.
Checked rear pads and will need changing soon(new ones picked up this morning)
Replaced diesel filter
Re fix the passenger side door sill seal(that should keep the mrs happier & draught free)

Forgot to get a couple of wiper blades

Checked all the lights ready for MOT:
- one indicator side repeater not working - just a bit manky inside - sorted.
- one front side light very dim - full of water - new bulb and sorted (for the moment).
- rear indicator very faded - replacement ordered.
- wiper blades knackered - new ones ordered.
- both bulbs blown in number plate light - sorted.

Order some interior trim bits to replace broken parts.

Realised that the wipers are very slack, so new parts ordered for a wheel box and cable overhaul next weekend.

Drove the LR to the off licence for Belgian beer and got called a hooligan by the wife for wheel spinning and generally revving the V8 too much - happy now.

Wheel spinning is a necessity to check the, erm, diffs, erm, for the MOT? 🤣
