I have the possibility for a 2006 Td5 90 with just 50.000km
As this would be my first defender, what would you check on the car?
Visually... Technical...

Bad thing : lookup in VIN database does show the car without any service record.

Welcome! Apart from rust, rust and any more rust. Low mileage may imply a lot of sitting around so check age of tires even if they look good also - but if well looked after despite no service records could be worth a look. Best advice is to get a mate that may know more with you and do not get too emotionally involved.
Plenty of advice from the magazine websites example:https://www.landrovermonthly.co.uk/articles/buying-guides/defender-buying-guide/

Welcome :).

To add to the ^^^good advice.
Checking the MOT history might give a better insight.
It could have been a school run car or ragged around a farm.
It would have had a service or 2 Shirley?

Arm yourself with a friend who knows, and go look with the view of not buying, (dont let the little head rule).
Post pics here if you go alone and you will get honest views.

Are you handy with spanners/welder?

Good luck they are fun (most of the time;))
