So it only took 2.30 this morning to clear one half of the loft, 30 bags zip tied off, hoovered and bleached. Daughter helped. I’ve bought all the ppe, hepa vacuum, paid her £300 and still come in £2k under quote skip dependant. Same task again...

Don't envy you the task at all. Small parcels of it shoved into bin-liners and tied off and lobbed thru the hatch. For each "goal" reward yourself with 1 ice-cold beer. Job "jobbed" in no time. Are you vacuuming out all the "bits" too?

Exacerbated by being in a Tyvex suit with a ffp face mask on 🤣 It’s my own fault, I could’ve paid the £3k the contractor wanted to do the job. I just channelled my inner @kevstar and thought the money would be better spent on a tractor.

I have the unenviable task of removing 30 year old loft insulation today. Unavoidably the task day is set for today and tomorrow. Having been up there last week, it is like a furnace.

Going to be hot again. Make sure yer put water out for wild life. Tis a good job eye gottid me harvester wuking. Eye collect 4x the amount of rain eye did before. Helps to correct the lack ov rains.
