Just seen that blasted rat on our bird feeder again!
I was on a "chat" to the DVLA at the time so couldn't move. Grrr!
He was still there when it ended so I went off and got me gern! Couldn't get the patio door open sufficiently unobtrusively...
Afternoon,
Divorce stalled, don't know what's happening next
Got Conditional Order and waited six weeks but nothing from wifey, her solicitor not communicating at all
Maybe she's waiting for something, time out or something, 🤔 ??
THAY don't have right of access, if you are not informed about the scope of the works in a detailed report with drawings and photos and there obligations to repair any damages done tell them to F O
I am going to put up thread about Openreach elsewhere on the forum, just to see if I can get any help.
But just so you know.
Our poop neighbours want fibre.
Fair enough.
But Openreach are going to have to dig up a lot of our shared driveway, and...
Mornin
Bright and sunny
Managed to fix the leak on me new toilet for now

Enjoy the sunshine all :)
Dunno if you have seen my post on this but she has to have another small op.

Well she gave me another sound kick in the nuts this afternoon. :(
I was taking the G-kids home from school back to their house and partway there the car started making a strange clattering/jingling noise. I pressed on (wish I had not). I...
I have re-used a copper head gasket in the past, got wifey to iron it then torqued it down to 60 lbs feet
Might be worth tightening the head down to 60 , they seldom warp being cast iron
Good about the stat, I had hoped that would change the plug colour, so that is another thing fixed. :)
As for the head gasket, if it was me I'd do a compression test first. Remembering to do it twice between times introducing a small amount of...
They usually leak around the engine number area, I always used to put a but of gasket stuff on that area when assembling. Water may be running along from the thermostat housing though
Since installing a thermostat and the engine then running at the correct temperature I thought it was time to pull one of the previously cold/oily plugs (#2 & #3) and have a look. No longer oily, and a smooth pearly grey colour with hints of...
