You say "turned" Do you mean skimmed, or turned round so it now faces the other way? Never even knew you could do that.
Did you change the pressure plate too? It does seem like you have covered most of the normal reasons for judder.
I have a...
Ok you are right. It judders does and not slip at 1st gear . The reason I said mostly is because it did slip in higher gears (3rd-4th) 4-5 times since 2021. Other than that there aren't any slipping it judders. And the flywheel was turned after...
The thing is that at shows like this big fun is had in the evenings, around the barbie etc, with loads of beers.
Then you couldn't get to the BnB unless it is within stagerring distance!
Odd stuff always seems to be happening!!
@sierrafery may have an idea or two. I know that the rear wash/wipe obvs has to have the wipe part of it working. Maybe look at that first, if you solve that I spose it may fix the other one.
Which...

Afternoon folks :) .
Not commented for a while. But I was a bit wobbly for a few days last week, heat and dehydration did it:rolleyes:.
You would think I should know better having worked in hot countries for my last 20+ yrs.
All good now...
Clutch judder isn't the same as clutch slip.
You say that after first gear it is "mostly" fine.
Could you clarify what you mean by that?
Does it slip going up hills, especially in higher gears?
Clutch judder can be caused by a variety of...
So just got back from dropping W off at Carcassonne airport.
As she is going for longer she packed one smallish bag and took a big handbag.
They told her, "that is two bags."
We remonstrated a bit and W explained how much medication, spare stoma...
Went to me bike club annual rally and track day this week, went on Wednesday and got home this morning. Superb few days and meet ups with mates who I only see once a year. I don't take to the track anymore, but I can still drink beer and have...
...bbbbut you said, sort of, that it was Lloyd Loom in your first post about it, just a tiny bit mispelt. So I think we all thort you had got what it was!! No matter, now you know!
It is funny, but great stuff. We have a pair of bedside...
Morning All. :D
Another decent day (ATM). :)
Upon further research the chair is not wicker but "Lloyd Loom" and is probably 1930's in origin.
I wondered how the strands were so fine and so uniform. Now I know. :)
Ran out of the spray acrylic...
Very nice.
You prolly already know this but I wouldn't recommend making piping from striped fabric, do a solid colour instead, or buy some rope and hand stitch it on. Lovely project, hope you enjoy it 😊
...that the transformation of that old chair has begun. :)
First coat of black satin finish acrylic. Needs more, but it is a start.
She likes it and that's all that matters. :D
Thanks.
I have chucked stuff into the tanks of all my vehicles that are lying idle. Not in the country so I cannot check the bottle out.
Is that likely to have prevented it? I think it calls itself "fuel conditioner" blue stuff, as far as I remember.
It's basically the diesel tank equivalent of algae. Biological matter that grows in the diesel. The vehicle has been stood for nearly 4 years so without any agitation or fresh fuel its probably provided ideal growing conditions. It's not that...
