Ok so you have a dodgy Foxwell. Have you tried live data on it?
I have a Foxwell pro 520 and it has helped me out with stuff like this. Mine is set up to be able to work with the whole LR/Jaguar range.
Is yours not?
The short answer is "no".
Take the time to ensure the air filter is clear of poop, but as @Anaconda has said, if this isn't a quick fix it may well mean getting a decent diagnostic.
To get max power there needs to be enough fuel, enough air...
Finished the welding on the inner wings, was a bit of a mission. I found a bit which was missed/butchered

Forgive me if I am being thick, but do you mean that the non-start problem was down to the Crank position sensor that you fitted?

Modulator on the side of the distributor can fail miserably. I had this happen once going to work. Only until an auto electrician found the problem I too was left with scratch bonce.🥴
Its called an ignition control module, "The ignition control module is a crucial component of a vehicle's ignition system. It controls the ignition timing and spark generation, ensuring efficient combustion and optimal engine performance. It...
Your heading implies that you know what the problem might be.
Once running have you measured for voltage at the battery? And again with all heavy-draw electrical items on? Should be between 14 and 15 volts.
Low battery power can mean that it...
Bit peeved.
Having written the whole spiel about how to remove a diff from the front or rear of a D2 to test for play between the crown wheel and pinion. For a French guy, translating the odd specialist word or phrase. He now says that although...
