51 Years old, not such a newcomer any more but still learning as we go. oldest son kai is 12 and very keen on driving and repairing landys (he has a 109 that he is restoring at the moment). Useful experience relates more to GPS and vehicle tracking than mechanics.... but we do a bit of that too!
