Update: took it today for a longer ride, still blows quiet a lot of black smoke with disconnected MAF sensor. Any hints I could look into? I checked the injector loom, no oil.

If bypassed means blanked , yes it is. Installed a EGT gauge in the blanking plate. Will go for unplugging the MAF sensor if I get the Front Diff today I should be ready for a test drive in the evening hopefully latest tomorrow I will be back with an update.
