Update: I discovered the filter is integral to the reservoir, hence the need for replacement in the maintenance manual. Going that route and then plan on flushing with new fluid a few times to remove impurities.
Took her for a jaunt to civilisation. Tad disappointed on the mpg. She's only managing 24.7mpg at best with mainly dual carriageway. Last jaunt, on same run, she was giving approx 29mpg.
Started prepping the LHD P38 for the MOT on the 22nd. Fixed non working passenger side front window switch. Checked oil in front diff. Engine oil and filter to do. Transit is done ready for the MOT on the 12th.
ok, here's a photo of the old one. Hence the uncertainty.
So just leave the new one as it is and tighten the nut, right?
