I don't think you can go wrong with SKF.
Over 200k is very good from the originals. My fronts went after about 100k, and the rears at about 160k. At least one of them did, I just changed them both when one went bad.
Cheers lad, I'm looking at an skf replacement. The blueprint unit I bought littery did around 30k and compared to the lr originals that did over 200k the blueprint units are a little disappointing 😩
Fixed my low screen wash warning.
Fitted new sensor, ignition on, still there.
Drained and cleaned out the washer bottle, refitted, igition on, still there.
Found a broken wire, fixed it, ignition on, gone :) and only took 3 hours.
Depending on how you rate originality the 6 vent slot spoiler was introduced in Oct. '89 & this is the only version that I assume is still available new. An '89 prior to that month should have the earlier 4 slot version, which in turn superseded...
SE108201L - the ones at the corners marked 5 in the pic & the others in the pic also marked 5 - are 8mm x 20mm set screws. Usually rust into the inserts in the bumper & just spin round in the plastic when you try to undo them.
For the rest if...
I replaced mine a few years ago but can't remember the thread details, sorry.
What amused me is that the makers handbook states that the spoiler can be removed to protect it from possible damage when driving off-road .. that may be the case when...
Pretty definitely requires an oil and filter change loads of how to on the tube it's pretty simple to be honest the cattle grinding should go away . You can not drain all the oil out so consider doing a fluid flush a couple of times along with...
13.8 volts Is too low, with modern batteries you need at least 14.4 preferably 14.8 volts. You need to swap the voltage regulator for a Mobiletron VR-VW010i. As things stand your battery will always be in a low state of charge which will lead...
My recollection is also less than perfect these days but I had it confirmed that the HP22 pump is OK for the HP24 box as is the standard torque convertor.
Drop the oil pan on the box and examine any debris carefully. Any sign of metal flakes and it could be the torque converter, it'll may well have poisoned the gearbox as well.. 😵 If the gearbox oil is as black as hell and not see through it could...
This morning no gearbox fault 😳 drives normal. Verified output schaft signal on nanocom it seems that the signal is ok as seen by Ecu.
Think I’ll change the oil a second time +filter.
Charging voltage is around 13,8v.
I thought the 24 needed the bigger pump to run the higher pressure needed in the clutches.
Not sure if it can be run with the 22 TC or you need the bigger 1. Which doesnt fit in the diesel bellhousing but the intermidate size TC does, not sure...
