Windscreen and under the roof rail inserts. Windscreen side trims off, top screen trim off, roof rail inserts off and reseal the screen and, usually, just the front roof rail 'groove'. Sealant cracks there. -

The idea of the brake cleaner is that if it is sprayed on a crack and the engine sucks it in the revs will go up!

Just to report back for future info, the advice was spot on and a belt for the car with air con and excluding ACE pump simply bypassed the ACE pump despite it looking like it may not work, when tensioned it's perfect. No need for a pulley / belt...

Job done. The lamp has very short leads so these needed extending about 6". I had a bit of 2 core in my 'I'll keep that, might be useful one day' box so that was soldered and heat shrink wrapped and poked through the rubber socket franger, bit...

Mark Piercy replied to the thread P38 runs like a out of balance washing machine.The omega ran an egr with the Ali inlet. The studs are of a different pattern to the head. Elliotts got one on his 2000my that came off my old omega 2.5tdi. His cyl head was already drilled for either fitting. 👌
