I've had dozens of various Land Rovers vehicles with V8's in them. For the love of God please don't waste your money on Champion plugs. The quality is terrible in my experience.
I only fit NGK, or Denso.
Get a set NGK BCP6ES for a road car or...
I have always used NGK plugs and plug caps since running a Suzuki TS50ER (restricted, but unrestricted to 42mph back in the day). An RD125DX, a GT250, a GSX750, a ZXR750H2 and a GSXR1000K3 followed… all on NGK. Even the current Husaberg TE300...

I could lose the washers and make a proper Alloy spacer plate, or, I could have just thrown it all in the bin... You Decide...
I also have fitted a cheap Alternator triggered Tacho...

You’ll know far more than I - I’ve still got lots of research to do. Last car I had with a dizzy was a good 10 years ago and that was jap and very reliable.
I’m putting a v8 into a 300tdi disco. I do have a v8 loom but I wanted something easy...
They seem to use hyperspark as their ignition. Love the look of the sniper 2 as a fuel injection replacement.

I’ve done a bit of research on this of recent. I was going to go megasquirt but am now leaning towards either Holley sniper 2 or fitech for my build. I don’t want to be messing about with maps etc. I just want something that self learns and had...

Folks,
I'm so happy. Today I spent a few minutes at my Landy, because I wanted to be able to move on refitting the fuel pump the next days.
My solution: I created my own "Adapter-Ring-Fitting-Tool" using two steel-angles and a few bolts:
That...
Hello Ladies & Gents,
I post this here, because I think it might be an "general" Topic, regarding all Land Rover Models. If this is the wrong sub-forum please move it to where it belongs. The story of this "repair" started a few month ago...
I wanted to check the oil pressure to rule out a low pressure problem while investigating a tapping noise, unfortunately the method to connect a gauge as described in the workshop manual is impossible on the Thor engine due to ancilliaries and...
I can see you have the turbo now, I was just going to say that Andrew at Allisport is a mine of information (fairly obvious) and a dang nice & helpful bloke. You won’t go wrong with anything with their brand on (or associated with).
It looks...
Will it ever warm up???? I suppose the last 2 days haven't been too bad, my blood must be getting thin. I have a short list of things to do and a couple of days would do it.
I've got a front anti-roll bar to fit and a straight through silencer in...
As I keep picking away at silly little things, which need doing, the latest of which was a new battery, as the one fitted was very small and after a 20 mile drive on the Dual carriageway with the sidelights on, I left it outside the Engineering...
Erm, so where was I ...... OK I was Adjusting the wastegate to give a little more squeeze, and was edging up a bit at a time when at 14 psi it started to get noisy, you guessed it, we have found the limit of the original inter-cooler core, which...

Been Busy doing battle with the Landy the last couple of days. It would appear that some work was done at chassis exchange time, but very little thereafter, so lots of siezed /mullered bolts, but slowly getting there. All lubricants renewed...
