    Yep, came from inside the engine, attached to the magnetic sump plug along with the usual swarft.

    Update. It was a tooth out, took bloody ages to get it right, had it set up perfect, wound it over a few times-tooth out! Anyway, got it right in the end, and started 1st time! cheers guys.

    Is there any reason that I cannot start it briefly once the belt is on, before I fit the timing cover/waterpump/rad?
