My 15mm pipe bender doesn't do tight bends, only similar to the one in the picture that's why I thought 10mm pipe would be better,
My brake pipe bender does 10mm so pipe should be hidden under the radiator, I'll paint the exposed pipe to match...
Not sure what that valve is there for, temp fitting? while work being done?
Personally I would just take it back to the trunking and go from there neatly with 15mm. but then I have a nice pipe bender that could get from the trunking to the rad...
I finished the plastering because it wasn't straight
Plumber and joiner fitted skirting and radiator on same morning working together
I've since replaced the architrave and now replacing skirting and tidying plumbing up
Your right I spose
I don't like compression joints on show so rather than solder a bend in I was thinking I can get a tighter bend in the micropipe so it looks neater. I also have a part roll of micro pipe in the shed and the rad needs a new...
Tidied part of me garage this morning to a (very) basic standard and binned some junk. Emptied my box of assorted drill bits yesterday and binned most of them (why I kept knackered bits I don't know). Got under me tratter bonnet this morning and...
Or cut shortern in the pipe trunking make them both run above the skirting in a neat manner and lift the Rad brackets a few inchs higher.
Or just remake the 1 that used to run along the wall from inside the trunking. or just the last bit from the...
Morning all, I might get some welding done later. Off to polish a bit of my boat I may be back sooner
if it starts to rain (very dull n overcast) njoy yer day zooners.
Problem is more than visual
Old skirting was only 2" high and one pipe ran above and one along the wood
Pipes need to be bended outwards to clear the skirting as they don't (and never have) sit nicely on the wall as they come down
So either bend...
TBH I wouldnt bother, fresh coat of paint on the pipes. Whos gonna see/know/care? (the answer is not you)
If you really want them to run on top of the skirting they will be more visible even if smaller pipe.
Yes there will be extra resitance to...
Problem (maybe)
Looking to replace these pipes from the pipe cover to the radiator.
15mm to 10mm elbows then 10mm micro pipes along top of skirting boards to rad.
Reason is so I can lift pipes higher and get tighter bends to rad valves, should...
Its like riding a bike, tall gears are more difficult to pedal, you have find the easiest gear to maintain speed without too much effort, all depends on hills, wind and energy.
Not the reason, do you have the final drive overall ratio?
Thats not what he said. anybody with a technical knowledge would know that.
That is correct. But the brick needs to be pushed through the air at a speed that suits you,you move the...
... A bit unhappy to find that the bonnet paintwork on the old P38 is a bit "rough".
I had the car cleaned inside & out today and brought it home and the top on the bonnet is all gnarly and "pitted" feeling. :(
There's "spots" on it too like the...
I want to check me tyre pressures and grease the UJ's today. And check fluids. But clouds are gathering and a few drops of rain have landed already. Might get it done this afternoon.
I went straight to window suppliers, picked windows, gave em measurements and had them in a few days. Smallest was 90 quid, largest 200, few years ago but massive saving
Window man were a bit pushy. Wunt wuk wiv me. We has agreed int principle eye will have em fitted wivvin 6 months but not when. They can naff oft till am satisfied and ready. Gorra free door assa gimmick to fit sooner. But yer never know if that...
