Yes, that is a textbook example of doing stake amazingly great. So many people rush into it and cook for too long when the opposite applies, plenty of prep and then cook as little as needed. Respect.

Joiner called today to look at fixing my creaking hinges and sawn off door.
He had a look and decided that the door was ruined, he said he should be back as early as next week with another new door :(
Sympathise mate, chemo being no fun at all. Still better that than the alternative. We'll be staying down Bidefred way for the week before Xmas week then that week with a couple in Cornwall whose husband has had 40 courses of chemo. He's old but...
