"Catch can and disposal drum" What???
I fink you doesn't do much on cars nowadays.
Big washing up bowl = catch can.
Previous oil container now empty = disposal drum.

But good on you, I too only go to...
For years I too only ever had one watch. I had to use it at work anyway.
Buying others slowly came on as abit of a hobby, started by repairing them and W kept giving them to me. Especially a really nice one for a present for our wedding day.

It was the "only what's on the shelf guv" that put me off. I want to do the oil-change tomorrow, not mid-week after they hunt up a can of the good stuff. :)
If we don't support out local shops we will be left with nothing except the big chains and Amazon.

Filter... Check!
Catch can and disposal drum .... Check!

Auction day today.
W wanted to buy me a particular type of watch that I have been after for a while. This is her way of saying thank you for things, which annoys me as it is unnecessary.
However a lovely one came up and I told her I'd split the...

Well that's it, yessdi's theatre trip was the last of the season. As usual before the performance we had lunch in Cote brasserie. We are regulars there.
We pushed the boat out knowing it was the last one, and didn't limit ourselves to what we ate...
If it goes away at about 1000 revs that should be OK. do you have a dynamo and a regulator?
Wow, if so, real rave from the grave. 🤣
My first two Minis did.
It could just be alternator or dynamo brush (es).
Last time I worked on such a system...
Hello all.
Local Indy confirms box needs changing. The one going in will be a rebuilt one that has done 50k miles. But he is so rammed he cannot do it before the 15th of April, so W threw a fit, especially as he doesn't want me heading straight...
Yes, we have a longish flexi from the end of the fixed piping from the tank to the inlet of the pump. I will find a place to insert a filter..... in due course. Now the smell of petrol is resolved I am looking to install a thermostat as the...

Early cars were 4.5 gallons then the tank was made bigger for the 1275 GT mid seventies, I think all Minis got bigger tank a few years later :)
