Good question, I don’t think so. I checked there was fuel going to the engine and there seemed to be; and at a high pressure, but honestly that probably means nothing. Might need to get someone in that has a proper professional code reader.
Hey all, this is where I’m at… currently we’ve tested the lives on the ECu and cleaned the earthing around the engine. We’ve tested the wires from the ÉCU to the injectors and we seem to be getting power to the injectors, the fuel pumps are also...
Great help thanks @Mark Piercy , this level of electrical maintenance is above and beyond me, I’m good with mechanics, not so much fuses and wires haha. Really hoping I can get this beauty going!!
Testing the earth is straight forward, pick a good earth in that area and test for continuity accross the ecu plug.
For the positive for the ecu, check through the fuses for an engine fuse, once located, check using the same earth you had in the...
Got it working with a PDF version, but I can't find the wiring diagram for the ECU connectors. I basically need to figure out if the lives and grounds are working.
Will check the model but it’s an icarsoft, it’s my mates he has it for his discovery… I’m pretty sure there’s power at the ÉCU, it’s turning something on in the engine when you turn the ignition on, a whirring noise which lasts for about 20/30...

Hey all.. UPDATE, so battery arrived and I trickle charged to full, fitted to the car and sadly, nothing changed, a couple of codes popped up including U0401 (invalid data received from engine control module/powertrain control module) and U0402...
They never do, may have been sat in the stock room for some time. A 24 hour charge with a 4 amp smart charger is usually needed to bring the battery up to a fully charged state.
Depends on the battery and the retailer i think. Some sit on the shelf, some are back out the next day.
Either way you don't know until you charge it yourself
