Passed her MOT with no advisories after failing with a knackered rear suspension arm and a small hole in the sill, £400 later all fixed.
I put two Pirelli scorpions on the front thinking it was going to breeze through.
Clean bill of health for 2025 and the tester remarked that the vehicle was...

£300 posted from Cheshire.
Plus mounting kit ( bolts, brackets, blank plugs etc ) me and the mrs have decided we are not fans of the nudge bar.
Used but fantastic condition.

That time again for the old girl, full service mystery by myself with MAF and MAP sensors cleaned, treated her again to a dash of ZX1, quiet as a mouse now.

Sounds to me like you have a possible height sensor problem.
Valve blocks look the same but are not, the difference between them is the two valves is the connections from the valve block to the left and right hand air spring damper modules and valve size. It is important that the correct valve...

I've replaced the front fog lights on the D3 and have also fitted LED lamps, the AC gas has been pulled out and replaced.
It is now freezing inside with the AC on.

Discovery 3 - Electronic hand brake adjustment to stop the screeching again, full brake check. I've also had the diff oils replaced front and rear, just to note both levels were 0.4L front and 1L rear these have never been replaced since 2006.

Aye, my money is the manifold split as well.
Seems to pop up quite a bit on the D4 this issue.
Welcome to the LZ mad house.

Easter clean inside and out, now sitting on four Pirelli Scorpions.
Started to use the D3 again for commuting within Cheshire, serving us well presently.
Happy Easter all 👍🏻

Lives another day, the V6 lion engine decided to try and eat the auxiliary belt tensioner on the D3 caught this just in time.
Opportunity to get the massive spanners out again to remove the fan.
New belt and tensioner fitted.

I may stand corrected here, D3 2009 sound familiar? I think that is when it may have been introduced? Going into Euro4 on the D4 3L
Hmm...

I once read that the DPF came in the 2nd year of D4. Interesting viewing all the same. Oil service must really be adhered to with the 3&4.

You need the fault codes to pinpoint the issue, else you'll end up going round in circles.
Welcome to LZ also.

Mine seems to do everything as well, had it a good while now. I didn't realise there are varying levels of functionality with them?

It can erase codes and calibrate suspension, I have done mine no issue. Tomorrow I'll plug mine in and guide you to where you need to be.
