There’s no voltage at the stalk prongs or at the main connected after the stalk

Ok.. so I connected horn directly to battery.. all good, so horn is fine. Then I found the connector in the steering column, connected battery to here.. again horn is beeping so I’m assuming no break in wire. Then I did the same at the actual push switch with the two prongs.. again horn works...

Is there a horn relay? One of the five relays below the fuses??

so replaced the horn.. still nothing. Opened up steering column and found the main connector to the indicator stalk with horn etc.. no power there on the purple black wire which I’m assuming is the horn cable as same at horn and at the horn fuse (still has 12v at that point)
Any ideas? Break in...

Yeah 💯. I was amazed that it was so smoke free! Still starts perfectly now but just has that intial plume of black smoke 🤷🏻♂️

an actual question though.. why would it be smokeless previously to a single plume of black smoke when started now? Too much fuel? Etc etc

Hi just seen this feed, mine has only just started putting out black smoke when starting, we recently did a two hundred mile round trip in it, before this it didn’t smoke at all 🤔.. starts every time though. Still normal or should I be getting it checked out? Cheers
