My p38 has come up with the "EAS Fault ,drive at 35 mph max ". I think this is due to a leaking rear airbag. Is there a way to reset this to allow the Eas to operate again to see where the leak is ? Sorry if this has been asked before Regards Anna

The air suspension Pump on my 2000 P38 keep cutting in and out all the time. I have checked and there is no apparent air leaks. The suspension is working as it should and no error messages . Any help would be appreciated Cheers Anna

Its all comparisions , and anyway thats only one type of crash , I agree that Renualt have great safety features but crashes are not exact science ie no two are the same. Ive seen loads of crashes in my time (to do with my job ) and it really depends on the nature and casue of the crash. IMO...

When I bought my 2000 RR from the dealer there was only one key , So they order me another from the factory and sent it to me by post . When it arrived I walked to the car and pressed the buttons and it worked as it should so I can vouch for this process being correct . Anna

Worn injectors can cause black smoke too , if its thick black smoke then its unburn fuel , which would point to overfueling for some reason .If its more grey/black then its fuel which is burnt but not correctly (poss worn injectors) Anna

BTW if the cats are blocked it will cause huge perforamce probs and on a single exhaust 4 cylinder cars it can cause them not to start or rev up. Anna

Hiya Sounds like an auto box or converter fault if the engine is performing ok see if you have a local autobox specialist near by.........Take it over and let them give you a diaganois on whats wrong. Anna

Cranks sensors generally either work or dont , if its not working the car will refuse to start .

Ive towed caravans for years , firstly with my 300tdi disco , which is really underpowered but tows well. For the last few years ive been towing with my p38 4.6 vogue, which makes relaxed towing and at more than 33mph lol.
