having a nightmare trying to trace the following problem,,,,,

on start up i get really low idle and no pedal response.
after 10-20 seconds idle picks up to normal revs and pedal responds.
causing pulling out of junctions dangerous
the car is not running right at all.

changed the maf
replaced the fuel filter
cleaned the intercooler
checked pipes etc

where next

its drivin me daft


any comments appreciated

Hi.
The book says that is also a flywheel sensor and six pins in the flywheel. Might be as well to make sure the sensor wire has not come off as the DDE ecu uses these to pinpoint crank position and engine speed.

Cranks sensors generally either work or dont , if its not working the car will refuse to start .

Maybe the thing to do is to change the engine coolant temp sensor as that is not on your list or unplug it and see if there is any difference.

plugged into testbook.

fuel temp sensor fault.

cleared it and car is sweet again.....
will replace it next week to make sure it doesnt re occur.

what a pain to drive with that fault!!!!!!

Hi NHJ

No its not sorted yet but as what eightinavee suggested got the window closed ,so I can use it . It is going into the local 4x4 garage so I will get them to plug it into the computer and hopefully get it fixed then
