    Freelander TD4 2005

Cheers mate. Hopefully getting the Escort painted soon. And a couple of slight changes. Will look factory though. :) Kept having problems, so been unplugged since Oct. And having it remapped without the maf, means I won't lose any power as the maf deteriorates. :)

Freelander 1 MAF'less Remap? Ronbox or one of the many alternatives

Got me stumped lol......especially the extra torque the R75 has, maybe it's the loss through the transmission. Only way to know that is to bench test both engines. I'm happy with how mine drives now. :)

    Freelander TD4 2005

Got the Freelander back, fuel tank cradle fitted, new diff seals, and mounts. Now I can get it undersealed. :D Few pics my brother sent me. Past its best New cradle

    Freelander TD4 2005

Well the Freelander is in getting the fuel tank cradle, diff seals and mounts changed........so I got the Escort out the garage, and went for quick blast......then had to blast all the salt off lol. :D Oh, here's a pic of the old cradle! :o Don't think my brothers technician likes me...

What's the standard figures on R75?

    Freelander TD4 2005

Haha, I just noticed that too.....the bhp line is really faint, dark line is torque. His printer was running really low on colour ink. :) I was thinking about the intercooler but drives really well. So will probably leave it. Was a good price too, £195. Worth every penny. :)

    Freelander 1 Mystery rubber seal.

Oh yeah lol, that's the one I was thinking about. :)

    Freelander TD4 2005

Yeah, I'm well happy. So much nicer to drive, plenty of power to pull away and overtake. Very smooth delivery too. Plus I never have to worry about the maf. I checked that on Winu's thread, and his seamed the same. :)

    Freelander 1 Mystery rubber seal.

I'm sure there's a seal on the bottom of the door card. Or may be at the side. Have you got a pic?

Freelander 1 MAF'less Remap? Ronbox or one of the many alternatives

Got remapped today, standard dyno with maf unplugged. 108bhp & 242nm. Not bad for a 12 yr old car with nearly 100k miles. Only mods are, Silicone hoses, K&N replacement filter, BMW vortex pcv and egr bypass. After remap, 138bhp & 309nm. Well happy, smooth and very responsive. I was getting...

    Freelander TD4 2005

The Freelander was remapped today, with maf unplugged. Standard apart from EGR bypass, Silicone intercooler & intake hoses, K&N replacement filter and bwm vortex pcv. Standard it ran 108bhp & 242nm torque. So a little bit down, as I thought it would be. As maf is unplugged and its done nearly...

    Freelander 1 Gear stick gaiter

Gear knob unscrews, then unclip the plastic surround (silver part), inside your see another part clipped in, unclip, then peel leather from black plastic ring, glue new one on, clip back together. Make sure you put the seam of gaiter back in the right place. :)
