yer i could go down the lowerin the mounts route again but would rather limit the amount of cuttin and stuff i hav to do to the galv chassis :D guess the top mounts on the wings are different :confused::confused:

Hi, i recently put a disco 200tdi into me old TD, now rebuilding ona galv chassis. Obv i had to lower the rad mounts wen doing the conversion. Got a 200tdi chassis but the rad mounts are the same height as the old ones used to be. :confused::confused: Is this cos the disco frame is different...

your disco will have a different transfer box, and yer the clutches are often heavy! :D

i siliconed mine up. not worth the risk!

it has a lil rubber style valve jobby possibly. wouldnt worry about it

yer thats the heater intake. excess water can bugger up the heater but i usually find i just end up with steam comin out the vents and i hav a portable sauna!! :D

Hi, ino that i can stick a 300tdi/TD5 bulkhead straight onto a 200tdi. Ino the transmission tunnel has to be modified but is there anything else? Cheers

think ull hav to move the mounts. Ino that if you put a 200tdi into a TD then you can use the original engine mounts, if you try and stick a 300tdi you hav to move them else it wont fit, so i guess youll hav a similar problem!

if it will fit straight onto your engine it wont meet up with the exhaust anyway.

would sound amazing tho!!! :D would drown out the noise of the entire drivetrain being shredded! :D
