It is possible that the pistons on the left side are stuck or leaking hence pulling to the right. No doubt others will have other ideas as well.

Nitromors works well just let it work into the paint before you try to remove it. Use rubber gloves and protective clothing it burns on raw skin.use plenty of water after scraping the old pain away. Time consuming but it can be done.

I did a search under landrover plastic and got a number of hits for various plugs used in land rovers.

Second one has a leaking swivel hub but other then that it is a far better vehicle going by the photos. The first one looks totally unloved and a lot of work to get it into shape. The rust may only be on the surface but then again it may not.

I think colour is last thing you should be worrying about. you need to check for rust on the chassis and anywhere else and then look again. get a test drive and check again. 66k could be correct but may be a replacment speedometer. forget warranties they are not worth the paper they are written on.

the ashcroft comes with its own cover. you need to remove the original before fitting.
