    Wheel/ tyre swap speedo etc

Same here - when I went up to 235/85/16's my speedo was far more accurate. It was miles out on the standard rubber.

    Terrafirma RTC Damper Worth it?

I fitted one a couple of weeks ago, did quite a bit of reading first and it's pretty much 50 / 50 between 'does nothing' and 'works great'. I think that's because (in my opinion) it make a bit of difference, the steering returns more easily but it doesn't self centre. I guess it's down to...

    Just fitted a Rev Counter

You get a little plastic adjuster that fits n the back, there are 3 settings on a slide to get near enough then use the adjuster till the revs look right. That's close enough for me! The bugger stopped working today so there must be a bad connection somewhere.

pressbrake rear x member, what an awesome bit of kit!

Got one on mine too, just tried to drill through it to fit the rear mud flaps and it's taking quite a while! Top product.

    Just fitted a Rev Counter

Just got round to connecting this (I was in no rush!). In case anyone was wondering it is the threaded terminal at 12 o'clock that gives the feed.

    Brake Calipers

I know this is the posh section but I'll post anyway to help a fellow Defender owner! There are two types of calliper for solid discs, you should have a single brake line to each calliper, some other systems have two lines. I'll back away now and return to a less refined section of the forum...

    Rear Wiper motor

Mine passed it's MOT today and the rear wiper hasn't been wired in since I bought it - no worries. I might sort it one day but never felt the need.

    200tdi suddenly went lumpy

Is it putting a lot of smoke out the exhaust? A sticking injector could cause it to sound rough for a while until it clears. I did see a puff of smoke come from the turbo / manifold on start up; does any smoke get out there when it's running? Could be a few things but I've had an injector...

'Read The ####ing Manual'. Seems like good advice to me! Why do you want to disconnect it?

    OSF Brake caliper Defender 90

This is the correct one for my 90: LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 FRONT RIGHT HAND BRAKE CALIPER RTC4998 | eBay Well, that's my best guess anyway!!

    OSF Brake caliper Defender 90

Whilst overhauling the front brakes on my 90, a lug has snapped off the drivers side caliper. It's the earlier type of caliper off a 1990 Defender 90. If anyone has one anywhere in the North West or North Wales let me know! I'm in Connah's Quay but will be out and about for work. I know I...

Is this worth over 2k ??

He says it comes with 16 alloys and 5 steel wheels, that lot must be worth a bit. Lol. Looks like a pile of crap that would be worth more if they just sold the bits.

    Knocking on axle twisters

Could be a missing bump stop? I lost one a few weeks back and it makes a heavy sounding bang when the axle hits the chassis!

Laning in the Snow - Llangollen Steps

The snow only cleared from Connah's Quay at the weekend so a few more weeks would be advisable. Can't wait to get out there again, the Wife enjoyed the day so she will love a proper green lane day. If we team up we could have a few up there!

    LPG issue

My Classic used to back fire every now and then, it would stall and blow off one of the vacuum pipes. It was a right swine to find the first time! A Vectra I had converted back fired too. Single point systems are not great, the multi point on my current car is much better
