    Thermostat Housing Bolts

I went to replace the thermostat today in my 3.5L. I've got an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold. One of the housing bolts broke off in the manifold. Thankfully, it was just the head and I was able to get a pair of vise grips on the remaining stud and pull it out without any damage to the...

Part Number for LT95 Bellhousing Bolts

I wish it was that easy. I can't find the correct part listed in the parts catalog. I've been through the parts catalog using a similar link to what you provided (for Defender it's http://www.allbrit.de/NAV.cfm?SPRACHE=EN&PAGE=338364). Under gearbox and bellhousing, it lists the bolts to attach...

Thoughts on Powerspark dizzy kits please.

Adding my two cents... I fit the Mallory Electronic Conversion kit to my existing distributor and love it. Just swapped out the internals for their kit with a new ignition coil.

    Clutch Advice

I'm military, so I get to stay in the base housing there. Otherwise, not sure I'd be able to afford anywhere nearby.

Part Number for LT95 Bellhousing Bolts

I am after a part number for the bolts to mate up the LT95 bellhousing to a 3.5, if anyone has it. Previous owner used studs instead of bolts in a couple places and I am looking to correct that and use bolts all around. Studs made it a pain to separate the engine from the gearbox.

    Clutch Advice

Thanks for the advice. It where I was leaning as well, but since the clutch was in decent shape and wasn't giving me any problems I didn't know if it was a waste. West Slope Rover, I'm headed out your way soon. I move to Northern California this summer. Shipping the Landy ahead of me this May.

Reusing Cylinder Head and Main Bearing Bolts?

I am replacing head gaskets and wanted to know if I can reuse the bolts or if I should buy new bolts or studs. Also, going to replace rear main seal while I've got the engine out. Can I reuse the main bearing cap bolts or should i buy new bolts or studs for this as well?

    Clutch Advice

After some advice. I removed the engine today and it gave me a chance to inspect the clutch. I'm not sure how many miles it has on it, but it doesn't look to be in too bad a shape (see pic below). It isn't quite to the wear indicators yet. The clutch release bearing, on the other hand...

    Defender heater box cables

Cheers. I guess I should have asked what should it have been connected to... I'll have to go and look at mine this weekend now. I suspect mine isn't connected properly either. Thanks for the tip!

    Defender heater box cables

What was it connected to on the dash end? I was watching this thread because I've got a similar experience. Moving the two slides inside doesn't seem to affect the cable on the side of the box.

    Can't decide!

I happen to like the way they look and they also protect the sills from being kicked when getting in or out.

    Rusty Nuts anyone?

I will let you know after I've fitted them. Just got delivered today.

    Rusty Nuts anyone?

I have the same issue but they aren't Britpart nuts. Not sure what brand they are, to be honest. When I first put them on, they looked sharp with the black wheels, but quickly began to rust away. Like you, I thought about painting them or treating them. In the end, I bought a set of genuine LR...

Heater blower resistor - does this look right?

That's exactly what mine looked like when I removed it. I replaced it with the one that Kwakerman posted a link to and it works fine.
