does the fan operation work normally when a/c on? can you jog my memory on a/c activation, do you have lever op or square push button. I wonder if there has been a wiring mix up or did this happen out of the blue? A/c will not activate if heater fans not on not the other way round but may be...

If the engine has been hot enough to warp heads i would be very suspicious of block.

Pins should come in complete kit, the 2 with rubber sleeve go to the bottom.

300 does not have an expander like earlier models it has a lever pull on one shoe R/H this in turn pushes other shoe when resistance felt. Oil can stick shoe to drum, away to do mine tomorrow it has started to "roller brake" against drum when brake off.

tank pump does not supply fuel to front it transfers from one section of tank to other. when ignition is switched on and off can you hear a motor opening and closing air flap at front of engine? Have you had it on autologic type system?

Do agree that the simpler the better (bit like myself) I still run carb V8 but agree the 3.9 cux system give very little trouble, especialy the type that stopped you getting home. Points are good as far as you can re gap them and off you go but if condensor goes you are back in the well known creek.

After screw removed push towards front of car i think and ease out, think its forwards try it both ways done so many of these but just do it without thinking these days, you do have to be quite firm with it.

Have you checked brakes inc hand brake aren't binding?

are ther any knocks or grinding noises coming from transmition, has it had diff change?

Unsure of the rover ones but your local indy should manage to get them too.

the breather pipe does not breath to air, it should still be checked for cracking beside hose clip or chaffing against chassis causing fuel to leak.

could also be the breather pipe, goes on to top of tank and back to filler.
