If yours is an auto, check the red led on the P position on the parking selector when you've turned the ignition off. Mine still glows slightly even after a few minutes, unless I press the mode switch after turning the ignition off.

It's the only oil I'd use in my TVR, but that engine is a pre serp. Serp engines should be OK with 10/40

I've always run 20/50 changed every 3K miles in the TVR, but a good one like Valvoline VR1, however they have the older oil pump (pre serp) design. These old buick V8's weren't designed for thin oil IMHO. Will you need to set the preload on the rockers?

It could well be the floor mat, I had exactly the same thing happen to me in the TVR a few years ago. I did lube up the throttle cable as well, just to be sure.

Finally got around to fitting the upgraded lights, front and back. Don't worry though I've only upgraded to the 2001 spec clear lenses, no stooped L322 gubbins.

I believe that the go ogle term you need to search for is underpigeon...

Does anyone have any experience of the iCarsoft i930 kit? I've seen some demo video's but they seem to only show P38 from the THOR engines (99?) onwards. Has anyone used them on a pre 99 V8?

New battery fitted. Fired up OK, EAS all pumped up. Gearbox oil checked, lovely red colour. Alternator is charging @13.7V, so looks good. Sat in her switched off and checked LED on Auto gearbox display. Glowing dim, waited 2 minutes still glowing dim. Pressed mode button on...

Cheers, I've already unplugged the blue aerial wire. Made no difference. So I've cut the orange signal wire to the BECM from the RF. Battery might be knackered though, so I'm going to put a new one on this weekend. Luckily it's a 5th car, so not needed until the snow comes...
