    V6 engine idle speed??

Ello Flop, You will get some oil in there, I've never heard of them blocking but I spose they could knowing all the gunge that gets into the vis valves. They normally get snapped by careless techs then badly joined with tape or whatever, seen that loads of times!

    Fuel Burning Heater!

Its fitted behind the front bumper on the nearside, never tried to disconnect one before so not sure on the easiest way in, try by removing the front part of the wheel arch liner and get yer arm in there or, if you cant get to it, the bumper will have to come off which aint a bad job. Don't...

    V6 engine idle speed??

you cant adjust it anyway. If it's running baggy, check all yer breather/vacuum hoses, they're brittle and prone to breaking causing air leaks.

V8 auto and Manuals - the difference?

Spigot bearing is fitted in the end of the crank on the manual, other than that, they're all the same except the later 4.0 and 4.6 engines, the crank sensor mounting plate is different from manual to auto

    Drive Belt Freelander TD4

Belt tensioner failure on the td4 is not uncommon, the spring breaks and the tensioner starts to rattle, also look at the crank pulley, it has a built in vibration damper, these can break up too especially on high mileage vehicles.

    Nuts!!!!

No need to undo the driveshaft nuts. But if you want to they're 32mm 21mm for the strut bolts Take the subframe off (it needs to come off anyway to remove the ird), with that out the way, prise the shaft out of the ird and pull on the now swinging strut, the shaft will come out and hang down.

    Cat Damaging Misfire

Leads are the most common for this, as you've done them, change the plugs.

TD4 - Engine dying at junctions

Sounds to me like a low pressure fuel pump fault. Deck the throttle in neutral, it should rev cleanly to the limiter, if it gets to about 3,500-4,000 rpm and coughs and farts with the MIL light on then the pump is faulty.

3 lights still on after fitting new brake switch

It'll need to be connected to T4 and the faults read to find out. A couple of common faults are.........one or more wheel speed sensors, accelerometer faulty or not calibrated, brake switch, throttle cable adjustment (1.8 & V6 only), CAN fault.

    TD4 clutch pedal fault

You shouldn't have done that!!!! ONLY press the pedal once its connected. I don't know if it should go down, never tried. When the cylinder is disconnected, the end is automatically sealed off to prevent air ingress and leaks, you can damage the cylinder by pressing it when disconnected.

rear air suspension - 2 post lift cause problems ?

Two post lift wont do it any harm, if it does play up afterwards then its usually a faulty height sensor
