Jobs a gooden then, I've used firefox for years with no probs.I also stayed away from chrome as long as pos but i had to install it on windows 7 for some games to work but as i only use 7 for gaming it's not an issue as I've got 2 os's on the pc and use xp most of the time :)

I would suspect the ignition barrel but only guessing as it needs a more detailed explanation. If you've got an immobiliser it could be that at fault as well but as i said it's only guess work.

It's getting on for 30 yrs since i last worked on the MOD stuff so not too sure but if i remember correctly the engine No will be totally different to a civvy one. Somebody else might be along with more info but the only other thing i can suggest is just set the timing to one or the other...

Just to add more confusion it also depends on what v8 you've got. The MOD lumps are low compression so the timing will be different:D

By the sound of it your trying to do it manually? For what they cost your better off buying a strobe or borrowing one.
