Then buy some reels of cable so you can test earths from one end of the vehicle to the other.
Some spare banana plugs may be useful too.
Oh, and some spare crocodile clips too.

However you have a 26 year old 90 - use the manual indicator off thing.
I put a buzzer on my indicators as what with the engine and other noise - could not tell if they were on or not.

I came up with just replacing the window as I had so many broken "tracks" - the silver stuff (conductive paint) couldn't keep up
It was about £45 for a window.
But I replaced the seals and fixings too - much happier now.
Just poorer
