I took a days leave from work to try and wire up all of the lights on the 90, after finding (and rectifying) lots of electrical gremlins throughout i'm left with one problem which i couldn't resolve.

When i indicate either left or right all 4 indicators come on?
Hazards work fine on the hazard switch.

any ideas?

After doing loads of googling this evening, the general consensus seems to be:

1. Check Earths
2. replace hazard switch
3. Check relay

4... hit with hammer and start from step 1 again

Just coz it's new doesn't mean it's working properly! I had something similar on a non Land Rover car and it was the switch in the steering column.

You have a contact between the left and right, usual suspect is the hazard switch where the wires are gathered, but it can also happen if you have fitted LED indicators without fitting resistors or diodes to stop the voltage leak. Obviously if they were working OK before you started work, it's something you have done!

Difficult to say really as none of the lights worked when i bought it and the indicator stalk was also missing.
Ill have a good look tomorrow as theres a mass of corroded wires going into the trailer plug (if thats what its called)

I am currently fitting a Wipac kit which consists of 2x sidelights, 4x indicators inc relay and 2 rear lights. bought 2 led bulbs for the sides but even with out the side repeaters wired both side flash when wither side i selected. Very frustrating

Today i cut off the mess of wires at the towing electrics plug (i wont be towing so may as well) as i thought that would be the cause... unfortunately not
Checked all my earths and even ran an additional earth to the hazard switch, no joy.
Swapped the relay... nothing.

Although the hazard switch looks almost like new (i found an old one in the boot area) im going to buy another and see if that makes a difference, after that ill have to start going through the wiring section by section.

Just a thought, when i wired up my indicators if i got one of the earth wires mixed up with the power wire would that cause it?

Not if the above was the original issue.
Earth mixed up with power should pop a fuse !BANG!
Or cause a minor nuclear explosion :)
Hope for the former

That rules that out then, i have ordered a new hazard switch which will hopefully remedy my problem. ill keep the thread updated

Replaced the hazard switch and all is well in the world again, I HAVE INDICATORS THAT WORK !!! :)

Ok, So I fitted two diodes, indicators worked fine but I lost the warning lamp flashing. Removed the diodes, fitted a led dash warning lamp now OS works as it should, including the warning lamp but the NS side repeater flashes. When the NS is selected indicators on flash but no warning lamp and the OS stays off.

Im loosing the plot with this landy!

You're nearly there. The LED you have put in the dash tell tale also acts like a diode, which has probably confused things. The two diodes, fitted as per my wee diagram, will allow current to flow in the direction of the dash tell tale, but not back to the opposite side indicators. Have another go with the diodes, or fit resistors to the indicators instead.
