Obe word of warning/advice, quite often things sold on ebay (I mean new bits like rubber seals/filters etc) are NOT cheaper than buying from elsewhere. Rubber door seals cost me £11 each from Devon 4x4 and they were at least £15 plus postage on e-bay!

I have one and use it on my Ford. To be honest the "main" reason for using it is to spray on and let it drag the dirt off BEFORE going at it with the wash mitt to reduce the risk of swirl marks. I do use it on the landy but srcratches are not that much of a worry!

I meant if you had an accident/fire how quickly could you get the kids out the back door. I then realised/saw that you've used quick release straps.

My wife (who is the pregnant one) doesn't sit in the middle seat as it is a lapbelt, she drives EVERYWHERE now so she has the three pointer. Maybe people thought I sat her in the back!!!! Thanks for the pictures by the way!!! (Are the seats able to be "quickly" removed in case of accident?)

I would do this but swmbo won't let me do that...she (in her wisdom and knowledge of such things) says they are not safe.

Quite often ebay listing are more money than paddocks or other dealers. I recently bought a new door seal from devon 4x4 over the counter for £11, normally on ebay for £16 or more!!!

The current forward facing exmoor trim seats are about £140 but DONT lock to the floor, thus requiring passenger body weight to hold down. They are currently sorting one that will lock in place but keep telling me end of March for realease. Maybe phone them and express an interest!!

I went 7 hours over the christmas break on the centre seat, baby seat to my left and wife driving. (she is pregnant so lap belt is a no no). Took the landy due to snow and I bit the bullet in the middle. No problem. Im 6 ft 1 and 95kgs! Baby number two will mean a forward facing rear seat...

Thanks. My buddy who recommended de catting is my MOTer! I have had issues in the past about it being '96 and a changeover year for a few bits. I guess i'll check against VIN numbers.

Its time for a new exhaust on my 1996 300TDI. I am told I might as well de cat it. What are the benefits of this? I need to by the lot. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy? Thanks in advance.

Very very true. If money was no object I would have a new one at the drop of a hat but I could not justify having something so shiny.

Check the Exmorr trim forward facing seats on their website. I am waiting as they are currently testing a rear forward facing recommended for babyseats. Guy on the telephone reckoned End of March release.
