    K&N filters

Hi all I've got a '92 Classic 3.9 Vogue SE and i was wondering about the benefits, if any, of the K&N (other makes could be available) 'cone type' replacement air filter. I knwow that they advertise more power, etc, but apart from increased induction noise will anything else improve? So...

    ABS on RR Classic 1993

Hi Geoff, as far as i know if the car is fitted with ABS from the factory then it has to function correctly for the MOT test, so if you remove it the car will possibly fail. Having said that i could be wrong as my experiences stem from a period af Daewoo ownership (don't ask). Chris J

Fog lights on with full beams

Hi, i doubt that it is my engine as it had a full re-build at 75,000 (50,000 milles ago) and she had a full service (with Magnacor leads) 1,000 miles before i got her (2,500 miles ago), this is why i bought it as, despite it's faults, it has a very full service history. As stated above it...

Fog lights on with full beams

Hi, thanks for your replies, but i think that the old girl has more deep seated problems (other than that the drivers seat controls work the mirrors, the heater fan only working on it's highest setting and the cruise control not working). Last night i used the aircon for the first time in...

Fog lights on with full beams

Hi all, a bit of a puzzle, first foggy night in my recently aquired 92 Classic Vogue SE. Turned on front fogs and no joy, only for them to come on when i clicked on the high beams. Obviously this isn't normal but i was wondereing if they're supposed to be wired so they work on dipped beams...

Hi, if you are a member of the RAC or AA, see if you can get them to inspect it, and if there is a fault they should be able to put some weight behind your complaint to the garage. Chris J

    98 RR SE Wont Start

Hi, just a thought, a friend of ours is having a similar problem with her P38, could it be something to do with the inhibitor switch in the gearbox (the switch that stops you starting in gear) as hers failed meaning that the car wouldn't start. Chris J

My Range Rover with added Rover 25

Just look at the positive side; 1; the Rover 25 probably looks far better now 2; it's another one that's been sent to the grave yard And i bet it was being by an octogenerian lady that smelled of cats, cabbage and wee. On a serious note, i hope that nobody was hurt, and it looks as if...

Hi all, i've taken the plinge and traded my old Shogun (apologies if that is a swear word on here) for a 1992 J Range Rove Vogue SE, i don't think it was bad at £590 off of ebay. Loads of history and reciepts, good MOT and Tax and the only problems sp far are that the heater fan only works on...
